History of the Club

The club as we know it today was started here in Australia in 1994 by Mr. Grant Emery, a former soldier from New Zealand who saw active service in Vietnam.

The club has it's origins in U.S.A. starting there in 1991 by a group of Veterans headed by Mr. Dave Tuck himself a veteran of the Malayan and Vietnam conflicts, Dave also a New Zealander but married to a American citizen and residing in the United States of American.

In 1996 Grant Emery suffered a major heart attack followed by a crippling stroke, and the club was left in flounder, as Grant Emery stated by his own words - he wasn't a good book keeper, in 1997 several former members got together and started to track down former members and got the club back on track again and started to promote the club both here in Australia and overseas.

In 2002 Combat Veterans International Australia introduce the Veterans International Australia, Not a separate club, but a member of the Combat Veterans the only difference is the member hasn't served in a overseas conflict or police action, But has served in the Military forces.( Note;- Veterans International Australia is NOT part of the Veterans Motorcycle Club V.M.C. in N.S.W. it is a separated identity. )

The club is military motorcycle brotherhood, not an outlaw or 1% club, it is not into territories, drugs or gang related activities.

The Club does wear a back patch but doesn't have the M.C. patch on the back, because the club is a military brotherhood it does wear the letters M.B. (military brotherhood). The club is a military brotherhood and it's sole aim is to promote motorcycling with in the ranks of veterans from any conflict, country and service.

The Club colors are accepted by many clubs both outlaw and social here in Australia and all over the world, because the club is seen for what it is and not a threat to anybody or any other club.

We have members in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
